Merlot or Milo

Taxi driver story: After a great clean up yesterday, Margie was keen to have a glass of red wine, just to end the day. Not too keen to go to the shop, I asked taxi driver, if he can do me a favor, and pick up a nice Australian 'Merlot' and asked him to bring something from around Year 2000-2006...something around $30 max. I would pay him when he delivered. He responded, "Bhaiya, why you want Milo with date already, expired?". "I can get it cheaper for $8 with expiry date 2013". Realizing this conversation was totally crissed-crossed , I just sighed, "Okay buy the Milo and I will make the pancakes". Kaila mada!
Moral of the story - don't waste time explaining, if conversation with taxi driver isn't going anywhere!

1`st Taxi talanoa

Taxi driver story: This morning I called taxi at 0800am to come pick me up. Waited for 15mins, he still hadn't arrived. I called their base to enquire again -The operator said, "Any minute, any minute bhaiya" . Just to throw a spanner in the works, I asked, "Which minute?" ...He replied, "Ahre, I dunno which minute..I'm not God" . Drau bula!
